The Northeast Assisted Fertility Group Celebrates Twenty Years

Find an Egg Donor

Family Building for Single Men Through Egg Donation and Surrogacy

At Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), we have spent more than 20 years helping single intended fathers navigate third-party reproduction. Since 2006, our boutique egg donor and surrogacy program has guided single men through every stage of the journey with exceptional service.

Your Path to Fatherhood as a Single Man

It is well established that children raised by single fathers (regardless of their sexual orientation) are just as well-adjusted as those raised in two-parent families. At Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), we have had the privilege of helping many single men build their families, and we have seen firsthand that single fathers are loving, dedicated, and deeply committed parents.

Through our expert guidance and coordination, all the components of becoming a father come together seamlessly for single men: egg donation, surrogacy, the right IVF clinic, contracts, and every logistical detail from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions About Egg Donation and Surrogacy for Single Men

Is egg donation and surrogacy legal everywhere in the United States for single men?

Yes, we work in states favorable to both egg donation and surrogacy; there is no discrimination on the basis of marital status.

Do all IVF clinics accept single men?

Yes, IVF clinics do not discriminate on the basis of marital status.

Should single men choose frozen or fresh donor eggs?

As with any intended parents, this is a matter of personal choice, timing, and cost. Read more about the differences between frozen vs. fresh donor eggs here.

How is working with donor eggs different for single men?

For heterosexual couples or single women, there is typically a desire to find an egg donor who looks like the intended mother. This is not an issue for single men, who are only limited by their personal preferences.

How is working with a surrogate different for single men?

It’s just like any other intended parents. Many of our surrogates are happy to work with single men.

What comes first, finding an egg donor or matching with a surrogate? What does the timeline look like for single men pursuing fatherhood through third-party reproduction?

After the initial consultation with Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), you get registered at an IVF clinic and then complete the medical screening. The next step is to choose an egg donor and create embryos, then get matched with a surrogate. The surrogate gets screened at your IVF clinic, and then the embryo transfer takes place. The whole process takes about a year from start to finish.

How much does egg donation and surrogacy cost for single men?
