Our website address is: https://assistedfertility.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

If you fill out the contact form on this site, you have the option of opting in to our email marketing list. You can unsubscribe from this email list (if you chose to subscribe) at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the latest email, or by sending a message to the website owner for removal. By submitting the contact form, you agree to have your name, email address, subject, and message sent to the website owner. This message may be kept indefinitely. Contact form submissions are also kept indefinitely in a database within the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

This website utilizes Google Analytics tracking software. If you would like to opt out of all Google Analytics tracking, Google provides instructions on how to opt out from Google Analytics tracking entirely.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with anyone, outside of the collections means described above and below.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Contact form submissions may be retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Contact form submissions with mailing list opt in will be sent to MailChimp. Contact form submissions will be sent to the website owner through Google’s Mail servers. Analytics data is sent through Google’s Analytics service.

Records Maintenance

NAFG/Takes3 will endeavor to maintain, to the extent feasible, donor identifying information and recipient identifying information for an indefinite period of time. When an egg donor agreement governs the relationship between the parties, it customarily indicates instances when the identities of the participants may and/or must be revealed. Takes3 will do its part to comply with the terms of these Agreements. The IVF clinics involved and individual attorneys involved should also be considered resources when and if necessary.

Confidentiality

All communications between the Northeast Assisted Fertility Group and our clients are held in the strictest confidence. Responsiveness to our client’s needs is a hallmark of this office, and we take pride in our adherence to the highest ethical standards. There is someone to answer your call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

We maintain a strict non-discrimination policy. We do not view age, ethnicity, race, religion, or sexual orientation as a barrier to alternate methods of reproduction. Prospective parents must, however, be emotionally, psychologically, and financially prepared to create or expand a family.

Please know that the information on this site or the transmission of e-mail does not, in and of itself, establish a contractual relationship with the Northeast Assisted Fertility Group. Embarking on an egg donation or gestational surrogacy agreement is an important decision which should only be made after considering all relevant information, including information that may not be on this website.
