Understanding the Egg Donation Process

What Maine Egg Donors Can Expect

Northeast Assisted Fertility Group is not a medical or fertility clinic. Northeast Assisted Fertility Group is not a medical or fertility clinic. No appointments take place in our offices. Egg donor recipients choose egg donors from our database, and the medical appointments take place at the recipients’ fertility clinics. Most of the fertility clinics are in New England. If you have an opportunity to work with a clinic outside of the New England area, it is totally optional, and all the travel expenses are covered.

The first step is to submit the online egg donor application. If you are a good fit, our egg donor coordinator will respond within two days. There will be more forms and photos to submit as well as a 1:1 interview, when all your questions will be answered. Then your egg donor profile is posted, and you start the egg donation process as soon as there is a match.

Hear From Our Egg Donors

Real NAFG egg donors share their experiences, motivations, and what it was like to help another family through egg donation. Whether you live in Portland, Bangor, South Portland, Scarborough, Brunswick, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Freeport, or elsewhere in Maine, your story could be next.
