Surrogates carry babies for intended parents who are unable to conceive on their own, giving the priceless gift of life. At Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), we are not a fertility or medical clinic, but a dedicated surrogacy agency that brings surrogates and intended parents together to manage the process from start to finish. Are you curious if surrogacy is right for you?
Who Can Become a Surrogate?
At Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), our surrogates are “gestational carriers”, as they gestate embryos created by the intended parents or donors, rather than babies created from their own eggs (traditional surrogates). Gestational carriers have no genetic relationships to the babies they carry. The ideal surrogate is between the ages of 23 and 38, has already experienced at least one healthy, full-term pregnancy, and is raising her own child in a stable and supportive environment. She should have a history of uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries, be in good physical and mental health, and maintain a healthy weight. Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG) is not a fertility clinic or medical provider.
Beyond medical factors, surrogates also need strong support from family and friends and must be U.S. citizens or legal residents who are able to accommodate limited travel for necessary appointments. These requirements ensure the health and safety of the surrogate as well as the child.

What Makes Surrogates So Special?
Women who make great surrogates often describe themselves as nurturing, dependable, and detail-oriented. Many of them genuinely enjoy being pregnant and find fulfillment in helping others experience the joy of parenthood. Stay-at-home moms and military moms often discover that surrogacy fits well with their lifestyle, but surrogates also come from many different backgrounds: teachers, nurses, doulas, caregivers, and beyond.
Is Surrogacy the Right Path for You?
Becoming a surrogate requires commitment, motivation, and care. For those who qualify, it can be one of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. At Northeast Assisted Fertility Group (NAFG), surrogates receive not only 24/7 support and expert care but also highly competitive overall compensation, which frequently exceeds $90,000+.
If you feel you might be a good fit to become a surrogate, we invite you to take the first step by submitting a surrogacy application. The journey is extraordinary, and the gift you give could change everything for a family waiting to welcome a child.
